Steven van Vessum

Steven van Vessum is currently the Director of Organic Marketing at Conductor, a position they have held since May 2022. Prior to that, they were a VIP Contributor at Search Engine Journal starting in July 2018. From January 2015 to May 2022, they served as the Co-founder and VP of Community at ContentKing. Before that, Steven was the Co-owner and Head of SEO at dotBlue from June 2009 to December 2016. Steven also worked as the Country Partner at Mouseflow from October 2010 to December 2015, and as an SEO Consultant at Oogst from July 2009 to September 2010. Steven began their career as a Publisher at Spotlight Effect from December 2008 to July 2010 and as an IT Consultant at Boer & Croon Nextrategy from July 2008 to June 2009. Prior to that, they were a Researcher at Synotion from February 2008 to December 2008. Steven's professional experience also includes serving as a Student Mentor at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam from August 2006 to July 2008.

Steven van Vessum completed their education with a Gymnasium degree from Felisenum in the field of Beta in 2004. Steven then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Science at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) from 2004 to 2007. Following that, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Information Science from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) from 2007 to 2008.
