Anthony Piscitelli

Anthony Piscitelli has a diverse work experience spanning from 2007 to the present. Anthony began their career at the Region of Waterloo as a Project Coordinator and later became a Supervisor of Planning & Research. In 2010, they served as a Trustee for the Waterloo Catholic District School Board. Anthony also worked as an Instructor at Conestoga College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning from 2014 to 2015.

In 2015, Anthony Piscitelli joined the University of Guelph as a Research Associate before transitioning to Wilfrid Laurier University as a Contract Academic Staff member. Anthony later worked as a Contract Academic Staff at the University of Waterloo - St. Jerome's University in 2017.

Starting in 2013, Anthony Piscitelli served as a Director and Board Chair for Your Neighbourhood Credit Union, where they played a key role in policy development and providing strategic direction for the organization.

Anthony Piscitelli's most recent role is as a Professor & Program Coordinator at Conestoga College, a position they have held since 2017. Prior to this, they worked as an Instructor & Curriculum Developer at the same institution.

Additionally, they have experience as a Safe Brantford Administrator at the City of Brantford from 2016 to 2017.

Anthony Piscitelli pursued their education at Wilfrid Laurier University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and General Degree Global Studies from 2001 to 2007. Anthony then continued their studies at the same institution and earned a Master's degree in Political Science from 2009 to 2011. Most recently, Anthony has been a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) candidate in Geography at Wilfrid Laurier University from 2015 to 2019.

In addition to their academic achievements, Anthony has also obtained several certifications. In 2009, they received the Accredited Canadian Credit Union Director badge from the Canadian Credit Union Association and became an Accredited Canadian Credit Union Director through Dalhousie University. In 2013, Anthony obtained the Certified Municipal Manager III certification from the Ontario Municipal Management Institute. Lastly, in 2021, they acquired the Institute of Corporate Directors' ICD.D certification from the Institute of Corporate Directors.
