Josh Yonis

Josh Yonis has a diverse range of work experience in the field of communications and sports. Josh most recently served as the Director of Communications at Conference USA starting in August 2022. Prior to that, they held various communication roles at the Southland Conference from 2018 to 2022, including Senior Director of Communications, Director of Communications, and Assistant Director of Communications.

Before their time at the Southland Conference, Josh worked as an Athletics Communications Assistant at the University of North Texas from 2017 to 2018. Josh also gained experience through internships, including a Research & Insights Internship at Genesco Sports Enterprises from 2016 to 2017 and a Graduate Assistant position at Dallas Baptist University from 2015 to 2017.

Josh's early career included roles as a Communications Assistant at the National Football Foundation from 2014 to 2016, a Recruiting Intern at Southern Methodist University in 2015, and a Public Affairs Intern at Southern Methodist University in 2014. Josh began their professional journey as a Content Editor Intern at MultiView in 2013.

Josh Yonis earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management from Southern Methodist University. Josh later went on to pursue a Master's degree in the same field at Dallas Baptist University.
