Chris Gillespie has extensive experience in software engineering, currently serving as Director of Software Engineering and Chief Technology Officer at Conferma Pay since April 2009. In these roles, Chris has been pivotal in high-level software architecture and design decisions, focusing on innovative and accessible technology solutions in the payments and travel sectors. Prior experience includes positions as Solutions Architect, Software Development Team Lead, Senior Software Developer, and Software Developer at Conferma, where Chris played a key role in developing flagship products and mentoring other developers. Earlier career highlights include development roles at Sizzle Media and Reach BCS. Chris holds a BSc Hons degree in Computer Graphics, Imaging & Visualisation from Staffordshire University and A-Levels in Computing, ICT, Geography, and General Studies from Sir John Deane’s Sixth Form College.
