Gareth Jones

Gareth Jones is an experienced cybersecurity and information technology leader currently serving as Chief Information Officer and Chief Information Security Officer at Conferma since March 2024. Previously, Gareth held the role of Vice President - Cybersecurity at Mastercard from April 2022 to March 2024 and served as Chief Information Officer at Visa for the Fraedom division from November 2019 to February 2022. Gareth's extensive career includes positions at Fraedom, where responsibilities included Director of Information Security and Global Hosting Operations Manager, as well as Regional Director of Customer Operations at HRG, where a focus on cost reduction strategies and innovative product development took place. Educational credentials include an MScEcon in Business and Economics and a BSc in Geography from Aberystwyth University.
