Avneet Chugh

Avneet Chugh currently serves as the Head of Artificial Intelligence at Confido Health, where responsibilities include leading the development of Voice AI Agents for health care applications. Previously, Avneet held the position of Sr. Principal Engineer in Applied Science at Nextiva, focusing on AI, Natural Language Processing, Voice AI, Reinforcement Learning, and Large Language Models from December 2020 to January 2025. Prior experience includes serving as the Sr. Applied Science Lead at PayPal for Venmo, concentrating on Natural Language Processing, Deep Learning, and Graph Neural Networks from December 2018 to December 2020, and as an Applied Scientist at Microsoft, specializing in AI and Machine Learning for digital advertising and search from February 2008 to December 2018. Avneet Chugh holds two Master of Science degrees in Operations Research (Optimization and Statistics) from B. M. S. College of Engineering and Penn State University.
