Qasim Mahmood

Tier 1 Network Support Engineer at Configure

Qasim Mahmood has a wealth of experience in the IT industry. Qasim began their career in 2007 at Warid Telecom as a Customer Service Representative, where they provided hands-on training about CRM, managed campaigns for retention and churn control, and designed and streamlined processes to improve customer handling and complaint resolution KPI's. In 2014, they joined Carmudi.pk as a Customer Service Team Lead, where they were responsible for process design and re-engineering of inventory, sale, delivery and after-sale support related processes, account management, and account loyalty programs. In 2016, they moved to Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre as an Assistant Product Manager and Executive Quality and Patient Safety. In this role, they lead implementation of projects, successfully managed 90% of the home sampling leads, and collected and reported all projects to MIS and relevant departments. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Configure, Inc. as a Tier 1 Network Support Engineer.

Qasim Mahmood obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing from Preston University between 2005 and 2009. In 2018, they earned a Master's degree in Information Technology from Virtual University of Pakistan. In 2020, they completed the VMware vSphere: Install, Configure, Manage [V6.7] course from VMware IT Academy. Qasim also earned a Cisco Certified Network Associate in Network and System Administration/Administrator from Corvit Systems in 2021. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Networking and Cloud Computing Technologies and Penetration Testing from Corvit Networks in June 2021, CCNA from Cisco in May 2021, and HCIA Cloud from Huawei.
