Albert Berger has a long and varied career in business and government. Albert began their career in 1995 as the Director of International Business Development for UPS. In 1997, they joined the California State Senate as a Senior Legislative Aide for Senator Bruce McPherson. In 1999, they became the General Manager of TE Connectivity (via acquisition of RangeStar) and in 2002, they took on the role of Chief Operating Officer at Redwood Toxicology Laboratory, Inc. In 2006, they negotiated the acquisition of Redwood Toxicology Laboratory, Inc. by American Capital Strategies for $80 million and served as the Chief Executive Officer and President. In 2008, they led the acquisition of Redwood Toxicology Laboratory, Inc. by Alere Inc. for $100 million and served as the Executive Vice President and General Manager. In 2017, they became the Vice President and General Manager of Redwood Toxicology Laboratory/Abbott Rapid Diagnostics at Abbott. In 2019, they joined Toi Labs as an Advisory Board Member and Coral Genomics as an Advisory Board Member. Finally, in 2019, they became the Chief Executive Officer of Confirm BioSciences, which was acquired by Clinical Reference Laboratory in December 2020.

Albert Berger attended Bellarmine College Preparatory from 1986 to 1990, Arizona State University from 1990 to 1994, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Communication, and Saint Mary's College of California from 2000 to 2002, where they earned a Master of Business Administration in Business Administration.
