Wes Moskal-Fitzpatrick

Wes Moskal-Fitzpatrick has extensive experience in the field of IT solutions and professional services. Wes is currently serving as the Head of Professional Services at Congenica, where they lead a global team of bioinformatics consultants and focuses on driving innovation in genomics and healthcare. In this role, Wes manages the team, develops and refines processes, handles service requests and quotations, and demonstrates the value of professional services through tracking and reporting.

Prior to their current position, Wes co-founded Traversys Limited in 2017, where they managed product development, budgets, and also did application development. Wes utilized open source technologies and worked with MongoDB, Docker, Ubuntu, and other tools.

From 2018 to 2022, Wes worked as a Principal IT Solutions Architect at Fusion Global Business Solutions, providing expert leadership and guidance in asset management, discovery, and integrations. Wes was responsible for infrastructure, integrations, service, and application modeling.

Before that, Wes worked at Capgemini as a Delivery Manager and Enterprise Architect, leading projects for enterprise customers and managing a global team for deployment of discovery tools and integrations.

Wes also served as a Practice Lead at Corporate Software Services, Inc, overseeing project delivery, providing leadership and project management, conducting workshops, and developing integrations between software sources.

Wes has additional experience as an ADDM Technical Instructor at BMC Software, as well as roles as an IT Contractor (Freelance), Senior Consultant at Mibtree Ltd, Discovery Engineer & ADDM Developer at JPMorgan Chase, and ADDM Consultant at Saudi Aramco.

Throughout their career, Wes has demonstrated expertise in discovery, integrations, and IT solutions, and has worked with various technologies and platforms.

Wes Moskal-Fitzpatrick pursued their education in a diverse range of fields. Wes began their academic journey in 1992 at Nicolas Chamberlaine Comprehensive, where they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study. Later, Wes attended North Warwickshire & Hinckley College from 1996 to 1998. During this time, they achieved a BTEC National Diploma in Business & Finance and an NVQ in Administration.

In 1999, Wes enrolled at De Montfort University and completed their Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Computing & Management Science in 2003, acquiring expertise in this domain.

Additionally, Wes Moskal-Fitzpatrick has obtained various certifications to enhance their professional knowledge. In 2014, they earned the ITIL Foundation (2012 onwards) certification from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT. In the same year, Wes acquired the CA Cloud Service Management Partner Validation: Technical Sales certification from CA Technologies. Furthermore, they obtained the MongoDB Associate Developer certificate from MongoDB in 2014.

In 2017, Wes received multiple certifications, including Cloud Essentials from Linux Academy, PRINCE2 2017 from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, and Six Sigma White Belt from the Management and Strategy Institute.

Wes continued to expand their expertise with certifications such as AWS Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2018 and AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate in 2020.

Their dedication to professional development continued as they obtained additional certifications in recent years. In 2021, Wes acquired the BMC Certified Associate: Discovery 20.x Application Modeling and BMC Certified Associate: Discovery 20.x for Administrators from BMC Software. Most recently, in 2022, they obtained the VMDR 2.0 and Vulnerability Management certifications from Qualys and the BMC Certified Professional: Discovery 20.x certification from BMC Software.
