David Mercier

David Mercier currently serves as the Vice President, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary at Connacher Oil and Gas Ltd since November 2024. Prior to this role, David held various positions at MEG Energy Corp from February 2009 to November 2024, including Associate General Counsel, Director Regulatory & Land, and Senior Legal Counsel. Earlier in David's career, experience was gained as an Associate and Articling Student at Bennett Jones LLP from May 2005 to 2009. David Mercier earned an M.B.A. in Finance and an LLB in Law from the University of Calgary, along with a BA in English from the same institution.
