Augusto Ruiz

Augusto Ruiz is currently pursuing a doctorate in Technological Innovation Management at the University of the Andes, focusing on the limitations of financial models in innovation investment decision-making. As Director of Tax Benefits for R&D+i Investments at Connect since August 2018, Augusto provides strategic analysis and consultancy related to tax benefits in research and development. Previous roles include leading the BIO-B project, managing investment projects for tax benefits, and serving as an invited professor at Universidad EAFIT. With a diverse background in engineering and business administration, including an MBA from Universidad de Los Andes and extensive teaching and project management experience, Augusto has consistently contributed to innovation and financial practices across various sectors.
