Alex Cousins

Alex Cousins is an experienced business director specializing in devolved and local government sectors, currently serving as Business Director at Connected Places Catapult since January 2022. In addition, Alex holds the position of Non-Executive Director at ACC Liverpool since July 2021, contributing to the board of the award-winning MS Bank Arena and Exhibition and Conference Centre. As Managing Director of Alex Cousins Consulting since July 2020, Alex has focused on business development and sales, fostering growth in various innovative projects. Previous roles include Business Development Director at Capita, Local Government & Communities Executive at Hewlett-Packard, and Transformational Sales Director at BT Global Services, among others. Alex’s extensive career in local government began at Liverpool City Council, where various roles were held from 1985 to 2001. Alex holds a BA Hons in Public Administration from Liverpool John Moores University.
