Patricio Navarro

Patricio Navarro has a diverse range of work experience in various roles related to data engineering and software development. Patricio'smost recent position was as a Data Product Director at Connected-Stories, a company they joined in February 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Data Engineer at the same company from September 2021 to February 2022.

Before joining Connected-Stories, Patricio worked at NTT DATA Italia as a Software Engineer IoT from January 2020 to September 2021. In this role, they were involved in designing and implementing architecture and cloud services to support IoT devices. Patricio also developed Java microservices using the Spring Boot Framework and implemented scalable architecture for communication between devices and data storage.

From 2019 to 2020, Patricio worked as a Data Engineer at Grandata, where they designed and developed an enterprise application to understand online user behavior. Patricio collaborated with data scientists and product owners to generate new key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyzed data to generate reports.

Before that, Patricio had roles as a Consultant at Intive-FDV and as a Data Engineer at Mosaic (joinmosaic.com) from 2018 to 2019, where they were involved in designing and implementing data flow and big data solutions.

Prior to that, they worked as a Data Engineer at Nodus Company from 2017 to 2018, where they designed and developed a distributed platform for web site monitoring and performed analysis and visualization of data using various Python libraries.

Patricio's earlier experience includes roles as a Forensic Consultant at Deloitte Argentina from 2016 to 2017, where they obtained, cleaned, and analyzed large data flows, and as a Python Developer at Core Security Inc. in 2013, where they developed and maintained Python modules under the SCRUM methodology.

Patricio'searliest work experience was as a Developer at Adaptive SRL from 2011 to 2013, where they developed and maintained C++ applications for web scraping and performed SQL database queries and modifications.

Patricio Navarro completed their Specialist in Data mining & Knowledge Discovery from the University of Buenos Aires in 2019. Prior to that, they pursued a Grado en Ingeniería in Informatics Engineering from the same university from 2007 to 2015. In 2014, they participated in an academic exchange program at Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, where they studied Ingeniería informática.

In addition to their formal education, Patricio has obtained various certifications to enhance their skills. Patricio earned a Professional Data Engineer certification from Google in July 2021. Patricio completed courses such as "Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer: Get Certified 2021" from Udemy in March 2021, "Apache Spark with Scala - Hands On with Big Data!" from Udemy in December 2020, "Google Cloud Platform Big Data and Machine Learning Fundamentals" from Google in December 2020, "Leveraging Unstructured Data with Cloud Dataproc" from Google in August 2020, and "Introducción a Big Data" from the University of California San Diego in June 2019. Patricio also completed courses on machine learning from Stanford University in February 2018, enterprise deep learning with TensorFlow from SAP in December 2017, introduction to Python for Data Science from Microsoft in March 2017, and big data introduction from MuleSoft in August 2016.
