Charlie Banke

As Manager for the Transmission group, Charlie Banke leads the analysis and evaluation of the economic performance of ConnectGen’s renewable development projects throughout the US. His responsibilities include modeling basis and curtailment, price forecasting, as well as other analyses to support the company’s growth.

Prior to joining ConnectGen, Charlie worked in Integrated Resource Planning, focusing on transmission strategy and renewable integration at Arizona Public Service (APS) and production cost modeling as part of the Solution Engineering team at Energy Exemplar. Charlie also previously served as an Electricity Trading Analyst at APS. Charlie holds a master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from Arizona State University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Arizona State University.
