Daniel O'Keefe currently serves as Commissioner for the Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development and as Chief Innovation Officer for the State of Connecticut, a position held since 2023. O'Keefe is also Vice Chairman of Connecticut Innovations, Board Member and Treasurer of AdvanceCT, Board Trustee at the University of Connecticut, Regent for Connecticut State Colleges & Universities, and Board Member for both the Connecticut Port Authority and Connecticut Airport Authority. Prior to these roles, O'Keefe founded and led Apax Digital, managing significant investments in technology companies, and served as General Partner at TCV, where contributions were made to the consumer internet group. O'Keefe holds an MBA with High Distinction from Harvard Business School and an AB in Business Economics from Brown University.
