Derek Shearer, WELL AP, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in indoor air quality and building management. Currently serving as a Commissioner for the International WELL Building Institute and as the Regional Sales Manager for Chubb Fire & Security Australia, Derek also chairs the AIRAH Special Technical Group in Indoor Air Quality. Previously, Derek held key leadership positions at A.G. Coombs and Johnson Controls, managing multi-million-dollar contracts and leading service sales teams across Australia and New Zealand. Derek's career began in the electrical field, progressing through various roles in technical and operational management, showcasing a strong commitment to enhancing building safety and sustainability.
