James Galvin has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. James started their career as a Business Development Intern at Connect Meetings in May 2016 and later transitioned to the role of Hosted Buyer Specialist/Travel Coordinator Intern. After that, they served as a Marketplace Sales Assistant and an Account Executive Assistant. From May 2019 to June 2020, James worked as a Taskforce Sales Manager and then became a Regional Sales Coordinator. James further progressed to become a Regional Sales Manager for both the North Region and Florida/Key Accounts. In October 2021, they were promoted to the position of Regional Director of Sales for Florida, followed by the position of Regional Director of Sales for the East Coast in December 2021. James'smost recent role at Connect Meetings is Director of Sales - West Coast, which they started in January 2022.
In addition, James Galvin has experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology. From October 2018 to May 2020, they assisted with an undergraduate lecture course called "American Government" by delivering lectures, grading assignments, and conducting research on foreign judicial systems.
Prior to their work in the events and education industry, James worked at Chick-fil-A Corporate as a Team Member from March 2012 to April 2016.
James Galvin completed their education in a chronological manner. James started with their college preparatory curriculum at Marist School, which they attended from 2007 to 2014. Following that, they attended Georgia College & State University from 2014 to 2018, where they pursued a degree in Political Science with a minor in Art History, with a concentration in International Relations and Affairs. Lastly, from 2018 to 2020, they pursued a Master of Science degree in International Affairs at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
