John Montesi

John Montesi has extensive experience in the commercial real estate and finance industry. John currently holds the position of Vice President - Commercial Real Estate Finance at ConnectOne Bank. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Vice President at People's United Bank, N.A., where they led the origination and syndication activities for the Commercial Real Estate Division's expansion into larger loans. Before that, they served as the Managing Director at Annaly Capital Management, where they launched a national origination and syndication program for senior mortgages. John also has a background in debt capital markets, having worked as a Senior Vice President at both GE Capital and BNY Mellon. Additionally, John Montesi has entrepreneurship experience as the Founder and Managing Partner of Loop Mortgage Services, where they built and implemented a platform for originating residential mortgages.

John Montesi holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a focus on Finance from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University. John also has a Bachelor's Degree in Bachelor of Science from Tufts University. Additionally, John Montesi obtained a certification as a Licensed Real Estate Broker from the New York State Department of Licensing Services in July 2015.
