About CSS and the position 

Delivering reliable solutions for complex subsea challenges, everyone in CSS plays an essential part in maintaining critical offshore connections for oil and gas operations worldwide. 

This role is available due to the growth of the business and is required to support the Finance Manager with the day to day tasks. You will interact and work with colleagues at a local and international level. CSS is growing and developing as a business and the role presents an exciting opportunity for someone who is an all-rounder and happy to complete transactional activities and also assist in collating the relevant financial and non-financial information to aid in management decision making. 

Duties and responsibilities 

  • All encompassing transactional duties

  • Credit control and invoicing customers

  • Journals, prepayments, accruals

  • Bank reconciliations

  • Balance sheet reconciliations

  • Fixed Assets

  • VAT returns

  • WIP calculations

  • KPIs and other internal operational reports

  • Cash flow / forecasting

  • Intercompany reconciliations

  • Inventory reconciliations

Job requirements 

  • Relevant education, AAT qualified or part qualified, must have relevant experience.
  • Ability to work under own initiative
  • Experience with Dynamics BC an advantage
  • Working with foreign currencies an advantage
  • An understanding of import / export legislation an advantage but not essential
