Janine Watkins

Janine Watkins has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Janine started their career in 1992 as a Cryptologic Technician in the US Navy. After leaving the Navy, they worked as a Staff Accountant at Clayton Homes from 1999 to 2000, where they were responsible for cash reconciliation, month-end closing procedures, and review of daily journal entries. From 2000 to 2002, Janine worked as a Financial Systems Analyst at Ruby Tuesday Inc, where they provided support and analysis for general ledger and accounts payable, created financial reports and queries, and maintained financial reporting structures. Janine then joined Amicas in 2002 as a Financial Systems Analyst, responsible for resolving system anomalies, producing standard monthly business reports, and creating new complex reports as needed. Since 2004, Janine has been working at Conning as a Vice President, where they serve as the point person for client, financial, and management reporting, designs and maintains internal and external reporting, and makes recommendations for operational effectiveness.

Janine Watkins completed their education with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 1999. Before that, they attended Pellissippi State Community College from 1997 to 1998, studying Business Administration with a focus on Accounting and Finance. In 2015, they obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from Central Connecticut State University.
