Alejandro Santiago Santaella

Alejandro Santiago Santaella has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Alejandro currently works at Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group (CC&L) as a Senior Analyst in the Institutional Client Reporting team. In this role, they are responsible for providing technical support, leading the development of a business intelligence area, and creating reports in Power BI to support decision-making.

Prior to their current position, Alejandro worked at Banobras as a Financial Analyst from 2019 to 2021. Here, they automated data transformations using Python, migrated dashboards to Power BI, and redesigned Excel-based asset valuation models into a Python-based solution. Alejandro also ensured timely delivery of ad-hoc forecasting analyses.

From 2017 to 2019, Alejandro was a Business Analyst at American Express. In this role, they played a significant role in improving campaigns and product profitability by generating relevant business KPIs. Alejandro also integrated sales reports into a user-friendly dashboard using Tableau.

Prior to their time at American Express, Alejandro worked at Grupo Financiero Banorte from 2014 to 2016 as a Testing Data Engineer. Alejandro also gained experience as a Senior Software Quality Assurance at Accenture from 2012 to 2014 and as a Software Quality Engineer & Tester at Softtek from 2011 to 2012.

Alejandro Santiago Santaella has a strong educational background with a focus on finance, accounting, and engineering. From 2016 to 2017, they pursued a Master's degree in Finance, General at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México. Prior to that, from 2015 to 2016, they completed a continuing education course in Accounting and Finance at the Escuela Bancaria y Comercial.
