Duc Dang

Duc Dang, CFA has a diverse range of work experience in the finance industry. Starting in 1998, they worked as a Research Analyst at CC&L Investment Management. From there, they moved on to Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group (CC&L), where they held multiple roles. Duc was initially a Senior Systems Analyst for the company, then became the Application Development Manager for the Fixed Income Portfolio Management Systems. During this time, they successfully implemented a modern high-performance analytical database and re-engineered processes and architecture. Duc then transitioned to become the Lead Application Development Architect for the Equity Portfolio Management & Research Systems at CC&L. In this role, they were responsible for various functional systems developer groups and the design and implementation of high-speed analytical database systems. Currently, Duc Dang serves as the Senior Manager of Investment Data Management at CC&L, overseeing the team responsible for data quality and governance processes. Duc is also focused on advancing the data management maturity at the company. Additionally, Duc Dang served as a Board Member and Chair at Business By The Book from 2004 to 2008.

Duc Dang, CFA began their education in 1995 at The University of British Columbia, where they pursued a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Engineering Physics, Math, and Computer Sciences. Duc completed their studies at this institution in the year 2000.

In 1997, Duc participated in a Co-op program at the National University of Singapore, specializing in Business and MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology).

In terms of additional certifications, Duc obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute in January 2009. Duc also completed the Advanced Risk and Portfolio Management Bootcamp offered by ARPM - Advanced Risk and Portfolio Management in August 2014. Duc's most recent certification is the CFA Institute CE Program 10 Year Milestone, which they achieved in January 2018.
