Sean Walls

Sean Walls, MBA, has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of information security. Sean is currently the Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Conn's HomePlus since November 2022. Previously, they held the same position at VSP Vision from January 2021 to October 2022. During their time at VSP, Walls managed information security for one of the largest vision insurance companies globally.

From September 2019 to October 2022, Walls served as the Vice President and CISO at Visionworks of America, a leading North American provider of vision healthcare. At Visionworks, they oversaw the entire information security strategy and operations.

Prior to that, Walls worked as the Vice President of Cyber Security at Eurofins from November 2017 to October 2019. Sean also gained valuable experience as the Senior Director of Information Security (CISO) at Presidio from April 2009 to November 2017. At Presidio, Walls developed and executed information security strategies and led an external consulting division specializing in cybersecurity services for clients.

Before joining Presidio, Walls worked as a Senior Enterprise Security/Network Consultant at MTM Technologies from July 2006 to April 2009, where they provided information security consulting services to Fortune 500 companies and government organizations. Sean also held a position as a Senior Network/Security Consultant at Black Box from October 2002 to July 2006.

Walls began their career as the Director of Information Technology at TELEPHONE ASSOCIATES, INC. from June 2000 to October 2002. Throughout their career, Walls has demonstrated expertise in risk management, compliance, incident response, and developing comprehensive information security programs. Sean has aligned their work with industry standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and HIPAA. Walls' dedication and achievements in the field have been recognized, as they were honored with the "Top Gun" award as the top consultant nationwide in 2008.

Sean Walls, MBA has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from West Chester University of Pennsylvania, obtained in 2015. Sean also holds a Graduate Business Certificate in Accounting and Finance from the same university, obtained in 2013. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor Degree in Science from Lakehead University in 1999 and a degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Computer Science from Confederation College in 2000. In addition to their academic achievements, Sean has obtained multiple certifications in various fields including information security, network engineering, and cloud security.
