Lorne Gould has a wealth of experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as Vice President of Health, Safety & Environment at ConocoPhillips since March 2000. Their extensive background includes leadership roles in various operations, notably managing Montney Operations and overseeing operations optimization in both the Montney and Surmont regions. Lorne has been instrumental in initiatives aimed at enhancing process safety and operational efficiencies, and has led teams responsible for the successful start-up of significant projects like the Surmont 2 SAGD facility. Prior to joining ConocoPhillips, Lorne worked as a Production Operator for Amoco Canada and Renaissance Energy. Lorne holds a 4th Class Power Engineering degree from Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and has further education from Lakeland College.
