Mauricio Bianco

VP, Conservation International, Brazil at Conservation International

Mauricio Bianco is the current Vice President of Conservation International in Brazil. Mauricio has been with the organization since July 2014, and in their current role, they are responsible for leading fundraising initiatives with corporate partners, foundations, governments, individuals and multilateral organizations. Mauricio is also responsible for strengthening the institutional image and branding of Conservation International in Brazil.

Prior to joining Conservation International, Mauricio was the Fundraising, Marketing and Communications Manager at ChildFund Brasil from July 2011 to December 2013. In this role, they were responsible for managing the Resource Mobilization / Fundraising department at the national level, developing a business plan for revenue growth, managing media relations and public relations, and conducting the organization's Annual Reports.

Mauricio has a long history of working in the nonprofit sector in Brazil, and their experience will be invaluable in their current role at Conservation International.

Mauricio Bianco has a degree in Tourism Bachelor and Hotel Managment from UCS - University of Caxias do Sul. Mauricio also has a Post Graduate Education in Strategic Management from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais. Mauricio Bianco is currently enrolled in a Management Development Program - PDD/PAEX at Fundação Dom Cabral in the field of Business Administration and Management, General.

Mauricio Bianco reports to Daniela Raik, EVP, Field Programs. Mauricio Bianco works with Kelvin Alie - SVP, Field Partnerships, Eduardo Forno - Executive Director, Conservation International, Bolivia, and John Goedschalk - Executive Director, Conservation International, Suriname.
