Romas Garbaliauskas serves as the Vice President of Finance Innovation and Replication at Conservation International since November 2007, where responsibilities include leading initiatives focused on conservation finance and innovative funding mechanisms to enhance private investment in conservation projects across various global regions. Prior to this role, Romas managed a legal team at Conservation International and provided transactional legal support specifically for South America, Asia-Pacific, and Africa. Romas also worked as a Legal Consultant at the International Finance Corporation, offering legal advice on investment projects in emerging markets, and practiced as a Senior Associate at White & Case LLP, specializing in project finance and leasing transactions. Romas holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in International Legal Studies from New York University School of Law.
