Ramon Espineira

System Engineer at Consilium Marine & Safety

Ramon Espineira's work experience begins in 1992 at SVT, where they worked as a Research Engineer and later as a Project Manager. During their time at SVT, they collaborated with Digital Vision AB on developing image processing algorithms using C++ and Matlab. Ramon also conducted courses on digital video.

In 1996, Ramon joined Chalmers University of Technology as a PHD Student, focusing on the development of Trellis Code Multiple Access (TCMA), which resulted in a report and various research papers.

From 1999 to 2000, Ramon worked as a Research Engineer at Teracom AB.

In 2000, Ramon started working at Ericsson as a Research Engineer in Air Interface Architecture. Over the years, they held various roles such as System Integration and Test Engineer, Team Lead for WCDMA Reference Models, Scrum Master, and Systems Engineer for WCDMA. Ramon also contributed to improvements in lower layers in WCDMA using C++ and Matlab, as well as assisting in competence build-up in simulations for a new site.

From 2016 to 2019, Ramon worked at Combitech Sverige as an Information Technology Consultant.

Starting in 2019, Ramon joined Evidente as a Technical Consultant, focusing on System Engineering. Their responsibilities included product development of mist fire suppression systems for rolling stock, assisting in the setup of procedures for testing and certification of new products, and conducting concept studies for system test rigs in the automotive industry.

Currently, Ramon is employed as a System Engineer at Consilium Safety Group, beginning in 2022.

Ramon Espineira obtained their Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology. Ramon attended this institution from 1985 to 1990.
