Yaw Asamoah

Yaw Asamoah has extensive experience in various leadership roles. Yaw currently serves as a Director on the Board of Directors of Consolidated Bank Ghana, where they offer strategic advice on business integration, growth initiatives, and finance. Yaw also leads the Board's oversight of HR, corporate governance, and stakeholder relationships.

Previously, Yaw served as the Chairman of the Board for the Foundation of Orthopedics and Complex Spine (FOCOS). Under their leadership, FOCOS successfully restructured its operations, reduced costs, and expanded fundraising efforts.

Yaw has also held the position of Chairman of the Investment Subcommittee on the Investment Advisory Committee in Ghana. In this role, they advised the Ministry of Finance and the Bank of Ghana on the management and stewardship of the Ghana Petroleum Funds, including the establishment of a Sovereign Wealth Fund.

Before these roles, Yaw had a long tenure at J.P. Morgan, where they served as Managing Director and Head of Energy Equity Capital Markets. Yaw provided strategic advice on capital markets access, acquisition financings, and corporate finance. Throughout their career, they raised over $270 billion and executed over 550 transactions for global companies.
