Russell Watson

Russell Watson is a seasoned professional in the field of chemistry with extensive experience in laboratory management and analytical research. Currently serving as the Manager of the Gas and Organic Analysis Laboratory at CONSOLIDATED NUCLEAR SECURITY, LLC since December 2019, Russell previously held the position of Manager and Analytical Chemist at Idaho National Laboratory from 2017 to December 2019. Prior roles include Lead Chemist at Nalco Champion, Research Chemist at the National Institute of Standards and Technology, and Industrial Research Chemist at RedXDefense, LLC. Russell began the career as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Tasmania in 2007. Academically, Russell earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Synthetic Organic and Organometallic Chemistry from the University of South Carolina and holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Clemson University.
