Jamal Hassouneh

SVP, Construction Services, Florida at CONSOR Engineers

Jamal has 26 years of extensive highway construction experience. Jamal started his career in 1988 as a Construction Project Engineer for the Florida DOT. He has been involved with major highway construction projects in Florida while serving as a Resident Engineer for both Ocala and Leesburg Construction offices. His direct experience as Resident Engineer heightened his understanding of the Department’s organizational structures. Jamal has also managed several projects abroad, during which time he also led a World Bank advisory panel responsible for developing models based on U.S. transportation infrastructure in developing nations. In his current position, Jamal is responsible for the operations management of the firm’s northern and central Florida regions and he maintains corporate representation and client relations in the region. Jamal enjoys traveling with his family, creating items from wood and copper, and serving the community.
