Javier Farelo

Javier Farelo is a skilled radiologist currently working at Parc Sanitari Sant Joan de Déu and SCIAS Hospital de Barcelona since June and April 2023, respectively. As a member of the Board of Directors of the Section of Young Doctors and Resident Physicians at the Col·legi Oficial de Metges de Barcelona since January 2019, Javier has actively contributed to professional development in the medical community. Additional radiology experience includes a role at Consorci Hospitalari de Vic and prior residency at Mútua Terrassa, where training in Radiology and Interventional Radiology was completed between May 2018 and May 2022. Javier also gained valuable insights through various external rotations in specialties such as Interventional Radiology, Women’s Imaging, Cardiac Imaging, and Pediatric Radiology across multiple hospitals. Javier earned a Bachelor's Degree in Medicine from Universitat Internacional de Catalunya from 2010 to 2016.
