Shanika Whitehurst

Shanika Whitehurst has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Shanika is currently working as the Associate Director of Product Sustainability, Research, and Testing at Consumer Reports, where they are responsible for developing and implementing the organization's sustainability strategy and goals. Prior to this, they held various roles at the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), including Environmental Justice Coordinator and National CAFO Team Leader. Shanika has also worked as an Adjunct Faculty Member at Northern Virginia Community College and as an Environmental Scientist at USEPA. Early in their career, Shanika worked as a Project Analyst at Independent Project Analysis. Shanika holds a graduate degree from Georgetown University.

Shanika Whitehurst has an extensive education history. Shanika completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Environmental Science at the University of Delaware from 1996 to 2000.
