Carla Schroeder, PHR, SHRM-CP, has a diverse and extensive work experience in talent acquisition and human resources. Carla most recently worked as a Talent Acquisition Director at Consumers Credit Union, where they focused on enhancing the recruiting and talent acquisition function. Prior to that, Carla served as a Contract Recruiter at Grand Canyon University, where they handled high-volume hiring for faculty positions. Carla also worked as a Sr. Talent Acquisition Partner at Taylor Morrison, where they developed hiring plans and sourcing strategies for executive-level positions. Carla's experience also includes serving as a Director of Talent Acquisition and Development at Market Enginuity, overseeing HR initiatives for multiple markets, and as a Sr. Director of Career Development at Thunderbird School of Global Management, providing career coaching to graduate-level students. Their earlier experience includes working as a Sr. HR Manager at Baxter Healthcare, where they focused on leadership recruiting and development. Carla's expertise lies in establishing recruiting processes, enhancing candidate experiences, and managing HR initiatives.

Carla Schroeder, PHR, SHRM-CP holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Human Resources Management from Elmhurst University. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications to enhance their professional expertise. In June 2006, they successfully earned the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from HRCI. Later, in December 2015, they obtained the SHRM-CP certification from SHRM. Most recently, in May 2020, they acquired the Strategic Workforce Planning certification from the Human Capital Institute (HCI).
