Rachelle Ward

Rachelle Ward is a skilled professional with extensive experience in community representation and health advocacy, particularly in diabetes care and agricultural research. Currently serving on the Management Steering Group and Community and Consumer Involvement Committee at the Telethon Kids Institute, Rachelle also engages with the Sydney Medical School and Diabetes Australia as a member of various advisory councils. Previously, Rachelle worked as a Cereal Chemist with the NSW Department of Primary Industries, focusing on rice quality and health benefits, and contributed to Diabetes Australia's Medical, Education and Scientific Advisory Council. Rachelle holds a PhD from the University of Sydney, a Graduate Diploma of Public Health from UNSW, and a Bachelor of Science (Hons) from the University of Sydney.
