John Schroeder

John Schroeder has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. John started their career as a Software Developer Intern at The Kroger Co., where they developed internal Java web applications and assisted in the migration to Git. John continued their role as a Software Developer, primarily focusing on back-end development for supply chain modernization efforts. Additionally, John worked as a Software Engineer and Project Lead at E-Technologies Group, where they led software projects for external clients and conducted research and development in AR and IoT. John then moved on to Fifth Third Bank, where they served as a Lead Software Engineer and Officer. Currently, John is working as the Chief of Technology at Contact Control Interfaces, where they are responsible for architecture and development of the Maestro haptic glove SDK and embedded software, as well as R&D of motion capture, vibration haptics, and force-feedback systems. John has also showcased these developments at trade shows such as E3, CES, and SVVR.

John Schroeder attended The Ohio State University from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Engineering.
