Mathew Wellington

Mathew Wellington is an experienced professional in maintenance systems and technical consulting, currently serving as a Specialist - Maintenance Systems at Contact Energy Ltd since November 2020, leading maintenance planning initiatives and training for planners. Previously, Mathew contracted as a Technical Consultant for Contact Energy, where maintenance plans were developed in SAP across the company's power stations. With a strong background in laboratory management and instrumentation, Mathew has held significant roles such as Laboratory Manager at Entec Services Limited and Sales and Laboratory Manager at Tyco Flow Maintenance. Over the years, Mathew has accumulated extensive experience in calibration, software development, and industrial instrumentation, beginning a career as an Electrical Test Technician at Egmont Electricity. Mathew holds an education from the Western Institute of Technology at Taranaki, NZ, completed between 1990 and 1992.
