Chris Hamilton

Chris Hamilton has a significant work experience in the automotive design industry. Chris is currently working as a Design Director at Contechs, where they support global automotive OEM's in delivering vehicle programs from concept to production. Prior to that, Chris had a long tenure at Ford Motor Company, where they held various leadership roles. Chris was the Head of Global Strategic Design FOE, leading cross-functional design teams in the UK and Germany to develop proposals for future vehicles and customer experiences. Chris also served as a Studio Chief Designer for Ford of Europe, overseeing production design programs for multiple vehicles. Prior to their time at Ford, Chris held design management positions at Jones Garrard Consultancy and Philips Electronics, focusing on automotive and consumer electronics products. Chris began their career as an Exterior Designer at Nissan Motor Corporation. Overall, Chris has extensive experience in design strategy, concept development, and managing design teams in the automotive industry.

Chris Hamilton attended Coventry University from 1987 to 1991, where they obtained a Hons degree in Design.
