Joshua Shang

Joshua Shang has a diverse work experience in various roles within the professional services industry. Joshua is currently the Senior Vice President of Professional Services at Contegix, where they are responsible for providing support and guidance on digital and IT transformations for enterprises. Before their current role, Joshua worked at Blended Perspectives | Contegix Company as the VP of Professional Services, where they led the sales and consulting organization to become a top Atlassian Partner in Canada and a leading Cloud Partner in the US financial segment. Joshua also held the position of Head of Consulting and Sales & Consulting Lead in the same company. Prior to that, Joshua worked at NexJ Systems as a Senior Manager of Professional Services and a Senior Consultant. In these roles, they led the implementation and roll-out strategy of CRM solutions for wealth management organizations and provided best practices in service level management and customer relation management. Joshua also gained experience at Univeris as a Product Analyst, where they worked on enterprise-class retail wealth management solutions for Canada's financial services industry. Joshua began their career at CPAS Systems Inc. as a Lead Consultant, leading pension administration system implementations for public sector pension plans. Joshua also worked as a Consultant - Pension Implementation at Vanguard, where they implemented conversion validation processes for pension plans. Joshua's early career included a role as a Technical Systems Analyst at Aon Hewitt, where they implemented defined benefit pension systems for medium-sized corporations. Joshua Shang completed their Bachelor's degree in Economics for Management from the University of Toronto from 2000 to 2004. In 2004, they pursued Continuing Education in Accounting at Ryerson University, focusing on Management Accounting Principles. In addition to their academic qualifications, Joshua obtained the SAFe Agilist Certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in August 2019, and the Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification from Scrum Alliance in September 2015.
