Alvaro Chocano

Alvaro Chocano has a diverse work experience in the marketing, communications, and media industries. Alvaro began their career in 2008 as an Assistant Manager for Cactus Club. In 2010, they were the President of the Student Government Association at Webster University Geneva, and also served as an Assistant Residence Coordinator for the Geneva campus. In 2011, they worked as a Multi-Media Producer for Media Frontier. From 2014 to 2015, they were a Marketing Assistant and Graphic Designer at the University of Houston-Clear Lake. During this time, they managed the Museum's social media accounts, developed marketing materials, and secured advertising opportunities. From 2016 to 2021, Alvaro worked at the Trade Commission of Peru in New York as a Market Specialist and Market Analyst. In this role, they promoted Peruvian products in the American market and created monthly market and consumer behavior analysis reports. Most recently, they have been a Growth Manager in the Creative Marketplace for Contently since 2021.

Alvaro Chocano received their Master of Arts in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia from the University of Houston-Clear Lake in 2015. Alvaro had previously obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Media Communications from Webster University Geneva between 2008 and 2012. Alvaro also holds a Leadership certification from Webster University.
