Bas Pleune has a diverse range of work experience in sales, business development, and account management roles. Bas Pleune has a diverse education history. Bas started their higher education at the Jan Tinbergen College, where they completed their TVWO degree with a focus on Economie & Maatschappij from 2003 to 2009. Following this, they pursued a BSc in International Business Administration from Tilburg University, from 2009 to 2013. During their bachelor's studies, they had the opportunity to study abroad at the University of Ottawa for a year, further expanding their knowledge in International Business Administration.

After completing their undergraduate degree, Bas Pleune continued their education at Tilburg University, where they pursued the International Entrepreneurship Program from 2012 to 2013. This program had a particular focus on Corporate Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management.

Seeking further specialization, Bas Pleune pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in the Management of Innovation field at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University from 2014 to 2015.

In terms of additional certifications, Bas Pleune has obtained various trainings and certifications.
