Romain des Fontaines has a diverse work experience with a focus on product management and leadership roles. Romain is currently working at Contentsquare as a Program Director, overseeing merchandising, retail media, and find & fix initiatives. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Product Management at Contentsquare, responsible for merchandising, user-centricity, and accessibility.

Before joining Contentsquare, Romain worked at Amadeus for several years. Romain also provided direction to Agile Release Trains involved in portfolio transformation.

Additionally, Romain held roles as the Head of Product for Merchandising and Ancillary Services solutions at Amadeus, Lead Product Manager for Amadeus Anytime Merchandising and NDC, Solution Manager for China Airlines and Mandarin Airlines, and Solution Manager for Ancillary Services. In these positions, they managed projects, coordinated with R&D teams, and improved product deliveries and cost control.

Earlier in their career, Romain worked as an Intern at Thales Alenia Space, where they analyzed satellite software operator activities and designed new user interfaces. Romain also worked as a UX Designer at IRIT/Rangueil's Hospital, implementing a tool for housekeeping systems.

Romain's work experience began with an internship at Amadeus IT Group, where they focused on usability and design for the Hotel Call Center application.

Romain des Fontaines started their education in 2004 at the Centre International de Valbonne, where they pursued Mathematics and Physics. Romain completed their studies in 2007. Following this, from 2007 to 2011, Romain attended ENAC - Ecole Nationale de l'Aviation Civile, where they obtained a degree in Computer Sciences and Air Traffic Management. During the same period, from 2010 to 2011, they also studied at ENAC / Université Paul Sabatier (Toulouse III), earning a Master 2 Pro degree in Human Computer Interactions.
