Matthew Baier

Matthew Baier has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Matthew is currently the Co-Founder and former COO & CMO of Contentstack, a pioneer in API-first, headless CMS technology. Prior to this, they were an Advisory Board Member for the MACH Alliance, advocating for an open and best-of-breed enterprise technology ecosystem. Matthew also co-founded and served as COO of Built.io, a digital business platform that helps organizations accelerate their digital transformation. Additionally, Baier has held senior positions at salesforce.com and Oracle, where they led product marketing efforts. Matthew has also founded various ventures, including Velvet Rope Wines, a wine consulting company, and KurbKarma, a mobile application for parking optimization. Earlier in their career, Baier worked at Sun Microsystems, where they held several roles in product management, product marketing, and technical leadership. Matthew has also served on the board of directors for Climate Theatre.

Matthew Baier received a Master of Arts degree in Astrophysics from the University of Cambridge, which they attended from 1995 to 1998. Prior to that, they attended the European School Karlsruhe, where they obtained a European Baccalaureate.
