Oren Barzilay has worked in a variety of roles in the technology industry since 1996. Oren began their career as a Software Engineer at Golden Screens in 1996. In 1998, they moved to 3Com as a Software Engineer in the Network Management Group, developing the Transcend virtual network manager application. From 2000 to 2006, they worked at Sheer Networks as a Project Manager and Software Engineer, responsible for developing network drivers and managing projects for Bell Canada. In 2006, they joined Cisco Systems as a Program Manager and Project Manager, managing projects in the North American region for Bell Canada. From 2010 to 2014, they worked at Canada Israel & Giza Singer Even as a Corporate Finance Manager. Oren then moved to Microsoft in 2014 as a Manager of the MTC. In 2018, they became the Director of Business Development at Contguard, a global monitoring company providing end-to-end service for managing goods in transit.
Oren Barzilay attended Bar-Ilan University from 1993 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Statistics. Oren then went on to attend Reichman University (IDC Herzliya) from 2002 to 2004, where they earned a Master of Business Administration in Finance and General. In 2004, they attended NYU Stern School of Business, but did not receive a degree.
