Clayton Main

Clayton Main is currently a Data Scientist at Continental Automotive Group. Prior to this, they worked as a Sales Operation Analyst at Accruent from February 2016 to May 2017. In this role, they were responsible for producing high-quality, easy-to-read reports on company pipeline, bookings, productivity and more for the executive team. Clayton also provided charts and slides for quarterly business reviews. In addition, they calculated commissions for 80+ variable compensation individuals each month. Among a multitude of other actions, the position required keeping track of one-off and unique payments, adding new hires, and updating compensation plan changes. Quickly went from a very limited knowledge of Microsoft Excel to using VBA macros and array formulas for complicated automations and calculations. Some of these had been said to be "impossible" by one of our best analysts. Hired on full-time into this role at the conclusion of my internship.

Before working at Accruent, Clayton Main was an Outdoor Pursuits Assistant at The University of Texas at San Antonio from August 2015 to December 2015.
