Wentao(Steven) Tu

Wentao Tu, also known as Steven, has had a diverse range of work experience in the field of machine learning and quantitative research. Wentao(Steven) is currently working as a Machine Learning Engineer at Black Sesame Technologies Inc, where they are involved in the development of the ShanHai AI platform.

Prior to their current role, Steven worked at Tokio Marine America as a Quantitative Portfolio Manager from January 2019 to December 2021. During this time, they also served as a Quantitative Researcher from September 2019 to January 2021.

Before joining Tokio Marine America, Steven worked at Morgan Stanley as a Quantitative Associate for a brief period from June 2019 to August 2019.

Prior to that, they attended the Southwestern University of Finance and Economics from 2013 to 2017, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics, as well as a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Finance, General.

In addition to their formal education, Wentao Tu has also obtained several certifications. Wentao(Steven) completed the Self-Driving Cars Specialization and Introduction to Computer Vision and Image Processing courses from Coursera in December 2021 and November 2021, respectively.
