Muhammad Umer

Muhammad Umer has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Muhammad'smost recent role is as a Network Operations Center Engineer at SBA Edge, where they are responsible for managing data center infrastructure and providing technical and managerial support to internal and external customers. Prior to this, Umer worked at Multinet Pakistan (Private) Limited as a Data Center Specialist, where they designed, planned, and optimized data centers according to TIA-942 standards. Muhammad also served as a Senior Data Center Engineer- Services and Operations, monitoring and managing the operations of TIER-II/III compliant data centers and providing IT and power support. Before that, Umer worked at the National Bank of Pakistan as a Network Engineer, where they led a team and managed the network management system. Muhammad also had internships as an Electronic Engineer at Pakistan International Airlines, Siemens Pakistan, and Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). Umer started their career as an Electronic Engineer at Atlas Steel and Engineering Co. These experiences demonstrate Umer's expertise in data center management, network operations, and electronic engineering.

Muhammad Umer completed their secondary education at Beaconhouse School System from 1991 to 2005, focusing on Pre-Engineering. In 2008, they enrolled at Sir Syed University and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electronic Engineering with a specialization in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, completing their studies in 2011. In 2013, Muhammad Umer pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Supply Chain Management at Iqra University, finishing in 2016.

Muhammad Umer further enhanced their credentials by obtaining the EXIN EPI CDCP® certification from EXIN in January 2022.
