Elisabetta Ghisini

Elisabetta Ghisini has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries and roles.

Starting in 1990, Ghisini worked at McKinsey & Company as the Manager of Communications. In this role, they provided strategic and creative communications services to McKinsey teams and advised senior client executives. Elisabetta also managed the communications department staff and budget, overseeing operations and achieving revenue targets.

After their time at McKinsey, Ghisini joined Burson-Marsteller as the Director of the Technology Practice. Here, they were responsible for global employee communication strategy, international media launches, and messaging/positioning for start-ups and Fortune 500 companies.

In 2003, Ghisini became an Instructor at Stanford University Graduate School of Business, where they taught until 2008.

In 2008, Ghisini founded Verba International Communications, a boutique consulting firm specializing in marketing and communications strategy for global executives. In this role, they focused on positioning, messaging, content strategy, speechwriting, and collateral development.

In 2010, Ghisini joined M31 as the CMO. Elisabetta was a member of the founding team and oversaw all corporate marketing, executive communications, and investor/partner relations. Elisabetta successfully repositioned and rebranded portfolio companies in biotech, enterprise software, and clean tech for the US market.

From 2009 to 2012, Ghisini worked as an Instructor in Management Communication at the University of San Francisco.

Starting in 2013, Ghisini served as a Professor of Practice at Hult International Business School, a position they held until 2020.

Most recently, Ghisini joined ContinuumLab.ai in 2020 as the Chief Marketing Officer. Elisabetta co-founded the venture studio and leads corporate branding and strategic communications. Elisabetta also established and manages a remote UI/UX Design team for innovative B2B apps, and currently serves as the CMO for a portfolio startup focused on sustainability.

Elisabetta Ghisini has a Master's Degree in German Language and Literature from Università degli Studi di Milano. Additionally, they have completed several certificate programs from prestigious institutions such as Harvard Business School and Stanford Continuing Studies. These programs include The Business of AI, Program on Negotiations and Leadership, Data-Driven Marketing, Building a Most Lovable Product, Negotiations Mastery, Leadership Skills for Women in the Workplace, and Authentic Leadership.
