Stephen W. Griswold III

Stephen W. Griswold III, MPA, currently serves as Deputy Chief of Staff for the Board of Supervisors, District 3 in Contra Costa County since June 2022, previously holding the position of Senior District Representative. With a military background in the United States Air Force since October 2017, Stephen has advanced to the role of Nuclear Command & Control Operations Specialist at the rank of TSgt/E-6. Prior experience includes positions in the U.S. House of Representatives as a Constituent Representative & Legislative Correspondent, along with various internship roles. Stephen earned a Master of Public Administration from the University of San Francisco, a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (Cum Laude) from Southern New Hampshire University, an Associate of Liberal Arts from Los Medanos College, and an Associate of Applied Science in Emergency Management from the Community College of the Air Force.
