Galileo Santacruz

Galileo Santacruz is a Cotutelle Ph.D. researcher specializing in Materials Science and Engineering at Universitat de Barcelona and Universidade Federal de Rio Grande do Sul since January 2023. Concurrently, Galileo has been a Ph.D. researcher at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul since July 2018 and holds a Master’s degree in Mining, Metallurgical, and Materials Engineering from the same institution (2015-2018). Prior experience includes roles as a materials engineer at Control Technologies Inc and CONTROLTEC LTDA from 2013 to 2014. Galileo's educational background also includes a degree in Materials Science Engineering from Universidad de San Buenaventura, with proficiency in English from Universidad de Nariño and Universidad del Valle (CO).
