Matthias Heschel

Matthias Heschel began their work experience in 2001 as Vice President at Hymite A/S. In 2011, they joined ConvaTec as a Senior Project Manager and later became an R&D Manager and then an Associate Director, Head of R&D & IPR. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as the Director of R&D and IPR at Convatec Group Plc, managing R&D and innovation activities. In 2018, they became the Vice President of Research and Development at ConvaTec. In 2010, they also owned their own company called MH - TechConsult.

Matthias Heschel completed their Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from DTU - Technical University of Denmark during the period of 1996 to 1999. Prior to that, they obtained their M. Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Technische Universität Chemnitz between 1990 and 1995.
